Spring is in the air.
After a cold, chilly winter night, this is how our kitchen garden looked this morning.
Crispy lettuce and radishes.
Huge broccolis ready to be harvested.
Beets waiting for the right moment to color my world. Strawberries secretly hiding under their leaves.
On our front yard, the trees are already blooming, announcing summer plums and nectarines.
Next Sunday we’ll go to TomatoMania! in Roger’s Garden, in beautiful Corona del Mar. At “the tomato freaks’ Woodstock”, as The New York Times referred to this tomato festival, we’ll start planning our summer kitchen garden.
I’ll keep you posted. Life is beautiful!
