Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 5 medium ripe hass avocados
  • 8 green onions finely chopped the white part plus some of the tender green part
  • ½ green jalapeño pepper with no veins seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/3 cup of mild to medium hot salsa
  • ¼ cup of light sour cream
  • 1 ½ Tbs. of fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  • Halve the avocados, remove the seeds and scoop the flesh with a spoon.
  • In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.
  • Add the onions, jalapeño and garlic and combine.
  • Add the salsa, sour cream and lime juice and combine.
  • Salt to taste and enjoy it!
