Añejo Mint Julep

  • 3- finger pinch fresh spearmint leaves
  • ½ oz mint syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 splash of soda
  • 2 oz of Ron de Venezuela Santa Teresa Añejo


  • Muddle the spearmint with the mint syrup and bitters in the bottom of a rocks or Old Fashioned glass.
  • Add the soda.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the rum. Gently stir and garnish with mint sprig.
