Blueberry Lavender Mojito Recipe with Ron de Venezuela

Ingredients

  • 15 spearmint leaves
  • oz. lavender syrup
  • 1 oz. lemon juice, fresh
  • 20 fresh blueberries
  • oz. Ron de Venezuela Santa Teresa Claro
  • Club soda or sparkling water
  • 1 sprig of mint to garnish
  • 1 blueberry skewer to garnish

Instructions

  • In a Boston cocktail shaker, with a mojito pestle, muddle the blueberries, mint lavender syrup, and lemon juice.
  • Add the rum and plenty of ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  • Fill a tall glass with crushed ice.
  • Strain with a fine sieve and pour over the glass with ice.
  • Complete with soda or sparklin water.
  • Decorate with a spearmint sprig and a blueberry skewer.
  • Serve with a straw.
